On February 27, 2010 at The Alley Cat in Charlotte's Center City from 1pm-6pm, it’s The Breakout Day Party.  

Why are we calling this event The Breakout?  Because we are inviting you to Break Out of the norm -don’t just go to a day party to see and be seen.  Go to a day party to enjoy...The Party!

No...we aren’t renting a restaurant.  Why?...'Cause this ain’t a dinner party.  We need a dance floor because we plan on dancing until our legs cramp.

Remember how a true house party went down "back in the day"?  The dress code is Fresh.  So go ahead and rock fly kicks, athletic gear, jeans or whatever; justbut be FRESH. Don’t get it twisted; we will turn you away if you show up with: a bad attitude, bad hygiene, a huge white tee, or the like.

In the building will be some of North Carolina's hottest talent performing live on stage. Spinning on the 1’s & 2’s to kick off the day will be DJ DR. Then we’re going to treat your ears to some live performances from Jocelyn Ellis and The Alpha Theory, Tyler Woods and more. Hosting the performances and rocking the party on the 1’s and 2’s will be Grammy Award winning producer and DJ 9th Wonder.
