Several Artists from 9th Wonder's Two Labels Brought Down the House
Young Guru in the studioThe first half of the year has scene a pretty consistent flood of music from 9th and his cohorts over at IWWMG.

Now the team is gearing up to introduce the masses to what folks in North Carolina have been fully aware of for a while.

The team has skillz and they were on front street at the Brewery in Raleigh, NC May 21st.

The Tom Hardy, Rapsody, Actual Proof and others hit the stage.

This clip is the official video for King Driis (Idris Elba) - Hold On which is, of course, produced by the Grammy-award winning producer, 9th Wonder.

Young Guru's spirited memories of first encounters with 9th Wonder
Young Guru in the studioYou would be hard pressed to find a true hip hop fan that has not heard the story of 9th Wonder getting the call to play tracks for Jay-Z prior to The Black Albums completion.

So we all know that that encounter led to 9th receiving credits for the track "Threats" which was created using Fruity Loops.

Up until now that story has been largely urban folklore...that is until now. Young Guru, personal friend and sound engineer to Jay-Z, relives the story of linking with 9th for Price Films.
